Qala Bitcoin Developer Program | Qala

Qala is a full time program designed to train the next generation of African Bitcoin and Lightning developers. The program will happen over a six month period (both onsite and remote) and is slated to start January 2022. Participants will be paid a monthly stipend.

We are looking for experienced software developers who have the passion and curiosity for the Bitcoin space, but have yet to be given opportunities. The program will consist of workshops, seminars, and more. We will dive deep into security concerns, adversarial thinking, and approaches to Bitcoin and Lightning software design. There will also be unstructured time for participants to contribute to open-source projects or work on a personal project of their choosing.
